WANTED: EMPLOYERS SEEKING GOOD EMPLOYEES

Jobs +, the MHA's highly successful employment service, is looking for employers in Nassau County who will consider people recovering from mental illness for jobs that might open up at their place of business.  Jobs + draws from a pool of potential employees who have a full range of experiences, from lawyers to bookkeepers to day laborers.

Jobs + is assisted in this effort by the Business Advisory Committee, composed of representatives from 15 employers, large and small. The members of the BAC provide feedback on the job market, recruit jobs, and interview prospective candidates.
