On Monday, July 16th, 2012 the Mental Health Association of Nassau County hosted their first annual 100 Holes of Golf Fore MHANC golf-a-thon at the beautiful Brynwood Golf and Country Club in Armonk, NY. The event was a shining success as MHANC was able to meet and exceed their goal of raising $50,000, which will go towards supporting our community service and outreach efforts and college scholarships for people with mental illness along with other Mental Health Association programs and services.

Close to 30 golfers participated in this exciting event which began with a 6:30am tee off time, and over five and a half rounds of golf later, concluded with dinner and raffles. The sky was clear, the sun shined and each golfer demonstrated perseverance, and overwhelming camaraderie to raise money and support a vital cause.
