Mental Illness Awareness Week 2014 is HERE!

Mental Illness Awareness Week is a national campaign established by Congress in 1990 and held the first full week of October. This year it runs from Sunday, October 5 through Sunday, October 12, 2014.

This year, the MHA of Nassau County, in partnership with the Association for Mental Health and Wellness (in Suffolk County), is working together in order to provide the community with incredible, exciting events that reach more people! Check our Calendar of Events for the latest updates. We want everyone to know that it's alright to talk about mental health, and that help and support is available.

Download our event flyer here and be sure to check out all our great programs, and that you also visit Association for Mental Health and Wellness’ website as well, to see all great events that are planned for this week! You can see them here at: www.miaweek.org
